I'm Amanda! I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from Ohio State University. I then went straight through to medical school and am currently a 3rd-year medical student at Ohio State University College of Medicine. When I first started studying for the MCAT and looking at medical school applications, I felt lost. It was all very intimidating for me and I didn't know where to start or who to ask for help. I also quickly realized how different studying for the MCAT was compared to my college courses. With this in mind, I strive to help students create a personalized study plan that works best for them. I like to focus on content knowledge, study strategies, and test-taking tips that will help for not only the MCAT, but for all future exams.
When I took the MCAT, I scored in the 98th percentile (521; 131, 128, 132, 130). I have 2 years of experience helping pre-med students prepare for the MCAT and work on medical school applications. I have helped these students improve their scores and get into medical school on their first attempt. I am open to helping students with any variety of needs; from the MCAT to college courses to medical school applications.
