I became a teacher in general because of a love of learning that started when I was a young girl. I played school everyday and was always the teacher. As I matured, I saw how important an education was and wanted to insure that everyone received one. I taught for years in an elementary classroom and then moved on to adult learning through an insurance company. I am now back to teaching younger students which I am happier with.

I have been tutoring students for over 8 years. I can tutor and help to learn English, study for tests, review writing assignments or overall tutoring for an elementary student. I have also tutored students from foreign countries to speak and learn the English Language. It was a thrill to see a young student be able to read English for the first time and know that I taught him/her.

I am certified in Elementary Education and FCS. I majored in English Speech in college which prepared me to work on this subject as well.

I have updated background clearances including Fingerprinting, Child Abuse Background check and Police Background check.
