I am a recently graduated student with two Master's Degrees in Conflict Resolution & Mediterranean Security, with nearly a decade worth of international learning and travel. I have also a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certification from the Skylark School of English in Malta and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. As a result, I have an established set of knowledge developed from years abroad and in academics, so I am not only adept at multiple subjects (particularly English, Social Studies, History, and Geography), but am capable of imparting what I have learned to a student body.
In the realm of studies, I take after my TEFL instructor, one Mr. Alan Marsh, of the philosophy of "Having a Go" at it. This is a the philosophy of how, regardless of level, students can learn openly within class and to give things a try. It means sounding things out aloud and slowly but surely improving together, to compare what others gain from learning. It is a way to immerse the class in learning how to read, listen, and write and participate in an active learning experience. It means to generate inquisition and daring in learning and finding out for themselves that they are capable of learning and want to engage as time goes on.
