Greetings All!
My name is Dr. Debra Harper. I am a veteran teacher with both teaching and tutoring experiences at the elementary and secondary levels of education. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in reading from the University of Houston Clear-Lake City. My Master's degree is in Educational Administration from California State University in San Bernardino. My doctoral degree is in Educational Leadership and Technology from the University of Phoenix.

My teaching and tutoring experiences cover 38 years and include experiences in the Texas and California public school systems. I hold a lifetime teaching credential in the state of Texas with a specialist certification in reading. My California credentials are current and include a multiple-subjects teaching credential and a reading/language arts specialist credential.

My mission in life is to help young people achieve success in learning. My philosophy supports that mission: ' Learning is everything, and everyone can learn.' The key to individual success in learning is having the right tools for learning. With the right learning tools, learning becomes less of a chore and a welcome challenge.

I am enthusiastic about teaching and learning. I am also committed to helping each student I work with develop and maintain successful habits for learning. I invite you to contact me at any time with questions you may have related to my teaching methods and instructional practices. Remember, 'learning is everything, and everyone can learn.'
