Does your student hate reading? I am a Certified Florida State Teacher with Master's Degree in Reading Education (k-12) seeking tutoring positions for students of all ages. Innovative and interactive lessons will help boost your child's self-confidence as well as their performance. I focus on phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. I have experience with ESE and ELL students. I am currently teaching grade 6 reading and have over 15 years of classroom teaching experience.

Awesome tutor and I am eternally thankful!

Mr. Robert has been my sons tutor for the past two years. At that time my son was 5+ and could not read at all. I needed a tutor that was patient, nonjudgmental and someone who understood kids on the "spectrum" as my son was diagnosed with ASD. Mr. Robert fit all those criteria and more. He started with the simplest of form...ABC flash cards and progressed to other tools as my son got better and better. My son has progressed so much that for the past year + he has earned the most improved in reading awards at his elementary school. Mr. Robert is very flexible. He fits his schedule to meet the needs of the client. We even do lessons when school is out and my son doesn't mind. This has assisted him in keeping him on track. I am thankful and eternally grateful that Mr. Robert is my son's tutor because it has made a world of difference for me and my family!

Robert worked with our 2nd grade son to help raise his confidence while reading. He was very willing to explain things before we met and then again explained what he did after the session was over. He gave us homework to reinforce what he did (as asked). He is very patient and made the session fun and engaging for our son.

I am very pleased I found Robert. I hired Robert to tutor my nephew (3rd grade) during the summer. They quickly established a nice rapport. Very Patient with Special Needs Child and Gets Results!

Robert has managed to take a very resistant special needs child who will not sit still for 10 minutes to actually participate for an hour long session. We are seeing progress with reading, phonics and resistance to doing "work". Very Happy to have selected Robert as our tutor.
