I Cannot Recommend Kathryn Enough

I don't know if I can adequately express how helpful Kathryn was for me during my Step 2 prep. With her support, I was able to achieve a dream score of 260 (more than 40 points higher than what I had gotten on Step 1 -- a score I honestly didn't think was even remotely achievable for me). I met with her a total of 10 times (2x/week). During our first session together, Kathryn asked me about my goals and took a deep dive into trying to understand my strengths and weaknesses. Together, we created an optimized study schedule -- one that targeted my weaknesses so I felt more confident in addressing those topics, but also one that bolstered my strengths so I could feel even more secure in those areas. She was a thoughtful listener, a brilliant mind, and honestly became a true friend. Who would have thought that I would have FUN studying for Step 2? But I really did look forward to my sessions with Kathryn, and they offered a bright spot in what can be an awfully lonely time in studying for these exams. I was excited to challenge myself, and I knew she would push me to achieve my goals. As I'm sure it's evident, I cannot recommend Kathryn enough. If you have test anxiety, she will give you videos to watch and methods to use to overcome it. If you need someone to vent to, she can be that listening ear. If you want someone to challenge you, she has an uncanny ability to find your weaknesses and power through them until they're no longer weaknesses at all. And if you want a cheerleader -- someone who will get excited for you when you score well on a practice test, or offer you advice when things don't exactly go your way, she is perfect for you. Without a doubt, book a session with Kathryn. It was my best move yet.

Terrific Tutor

I can't recommend Kathryn enough! She was a terrific tutor whose guidance helped me to develop a focused study strategy to tackle Step 1 in a way that harnessed my strengths and bolstered my weaker subject areas. With her help, I saw my score jump by 20% in 4 weeks, from not passing to where I was within a comfortable passing range before the big exam. Prior to tutoring, I was incredibly anxious and hopeless about the exam and frustrated by my lack of progress with studying using Qbanks. I think one of her strongest assets as a tutor is her quick adaptability to a tutee's needs and unique ways of learning. As someone who tends to study by myself and not in groups, we designed sessions to focus on test taking strategy and analyzing patterns in my nbme practice exam results. For those who prefer focused subject review, that is also an option to further consolidate material. Kathryn, thank you for making me feel more confident and prepared for these licensing exams! Skills I've learned during this process I know will serve me well in the future.
