I have taught various ages and grades in my educational career. I am currently a certified teacher in Gifted and Talented
Education Grades k-12, Social Studies Grades 5-8, and Elementary Grades 1-6. I have been teaching for 25 years in public and private setting. My favorite is public school settings.

I believe that students all learn in different ways- multiple intelligence, some are auditory-meaning they have to hear it to process and understand materials. When the best method of presenting material is found for the individual student- success can be reached easily and effortlessly.

I am an avid reader and expert speller. I feel reading is the cornerstone for all learning. I can motivate students to find the fun and adventure that can be found in reading and writing.

I love working with young students and teaching them how to be lifelong learners. I feel that having proper study skills will assist in this.
