Hi, I'm Esra! I specialize in math and physics for all ages. Let's meet each week to go over your (or your kid's) classwork, and I can give you visual examples and explanations so you know how to solve problems when they show up on your tests!

I graduated summa cum laude with a Physics Master's degree in 2023. I have three years of experience as a graduate teaching assistant, guiding Physics students through labs and discussion sections. On the side, I led a tutoring program for a year at a Detroit community center for students from elementary school to high school, until I graduated. Since then, I've privately tutored students from ages 12-40 both in-person and remotely, through Thumbtack and tutor.com.

I believe two-way communication is super important when it comes to learning. So, I try to stay super available, responding quickly to texts and emails, and answering any questions you might throw at me. I also welcome any suggestions you may have on how to make my sessions better or more clear. In addition, I give feedback on your academic work, identifying your problem areas and the ones you've succeeded in.
