She is thorough and takes time going through slides. She doesn’t just read them but makes sure I understand the concepts and relates it to other things that help give me a visual of what we are looking at. She asks questions and makes it easier to understand some tough material. She also tells ways to study better on my own and helps me see what is important. Other tutors weren’t bad but they did not teach me the material and I needed someone to help reteach the material so I would be able to recall it better. She is young and I think that helps as well because she’s had to take this recently and really knows what was important to learn and how to make it all make sense.

Have been taking lessons with Emily and she has been so helpful! Chemistry isnt my strongest suite, but she always makes sure to walk me through step by step to make sure I have a good understanding.She also makes sure to quiz me regularly to make sure everything is clicking. Super weet and always makes time for a session. Highly recommend.

From the beginning she was kind and very enthusiastic about helping my daughter develop a plan to tackle not only her midterms, but the course as a whole.
