I have been playing professionally for nearly a decade and have performed from Maine to California. I can be heard playing bass on studio recordings with jazz acts including "Ryan Benthall Trio" and "Denin Koch and Beta Particle,” rock acts including "Charlie Haley” and “Painted Birds,” folk act "The Winter Tree," and indie-alt acts including “EMDR” and “The Blue and Green Collective."

In my years playing bass professionally, I have been hired to perform with all types of acts from jazz bands and orchestras, to churches, to hard rock, blues, and metal groups, to a Willie Nelson impersonator. This experience enables me to prepare students to play whatever type of music they enjoy! I know that students have all different backgrounds, tastes, and experiences, so I develop a personalized lesson plan for each student that goes beyond a one-size-fits all approach and helps every individual student take their next steps. I also know that different students have different goals, and I enjoy teaching a student learning a hobby just for fun as well as serious students seeking professional development. In my lessons, I like to balance the challenging aspects with fun to make sure my students are growing in skill, but also in love of playing music!

If you think we would be a good fit, send me a message and I will answer any of your questions and schedule a lesson!
