I have a background in communications, marketing, media and PR. I have worked 20+ years in the marketing arena and currently teach marketing classes at Schoolcraft College.

Public Speaking

Prepare yourself to speak to just a few people or in front of a large class or group of attendees. You will have an opportunity to put together your own topic with the use of visual aids such as power point or actual props. You will learn great tips to make you feel more comfortable and you will have the opportunity to have an expert(me) critique your entire presentation. I have over 20 years teaching public speaking and presentation skills. I have a Master's in Communications Studies from the University of Michigan where I was a lecturer in the Department of Law, History and Communication. I taught undergraduate and MBA managerial communication and writing. I worked as a faculty team member for the Business School's Multi-Discipliary Action Plan, overseeing 20 MBA student teams' final papers and presentations. I have written published and unpublished articles. For 11 years, I was the Director of Media and Presentation Training at PCGC Campbell, a marketing company in Dearborn, where I worked with such clients as Ford Motor Company.

Golf

I am not a PGA golf pro, but I am an avid golfer and have played for a long time. I've helped many friends and golf league members improve their swings and enjoy golf more. I'm very patient and love teaching golf and helping people improve. I'm especially interested in teaching women.
