Hi I’m Eli! Currently studying at Uchicago. Majoring in computer science and creative writing with a minor in data science. Have tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in subjects such as poetry, writing (creative and analytical), reading comprehension, computer science, physics, and SAT math and reading (math: 790 reading: 790). Am willing to work on school work or create student-specific programs to help kids excel at their coursework. If a student needs more time at the end of sessions I’m happy to continue working with them until they feel comfortable with the material or problem at hand. My priority is helping students understand concepts!

When working with me, it helps if you send me your coursework ahead of time but if you can’t it’s okay.

Scored 790 on math SAT section and have helped many
friends and younger students prep and score well on
the test. Am proficient in all topics on this section of the
test and have resources as well as techniques for studying and significantly improving score.

Am an avid reader and writer. Have tutored students in
analytical and creative writing as well as prepped students on the reading and grammar section of the SAT. Personally when taking the SAT I used Princeton review books, college board books, practice tests, a tutor, boot camps, and other online resources, so working with me, students gain access to all the knowledge and resources I have at my disposal from my experience with the test as well as the experience I have gained helping students. Can create student specific curriculum to help individuals improve their score based on practice test evaluation!

Have been coding for 6+ years and am well versed in Java, JavaScript, html, python, C, solidity, and ruby. Have led app development in school groups and have tutored students in CS — helping in topics such as debugging, back end dev, algorithm analysis, etc.
