Hi! My name is Sindhu and I am a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where I majored in neuroscience and minored in chemistry. For the past five years, I have been involved with tutoring high school students for both the SAT and ACT in one on one as well as group settings. I also have experience working with students with learning differences and anxiety. Through these experiences, I have realized the importance of understanding a student's learning style, and tailoring my approach to meet individual needs. I believe in fostering an empowering and positive learning environment and my sessions are thoughtfully designed to be interactive, student-centered, and encouraging to instill a sense of confidence.

For the SAT, I enjoy getting to know students, working together to identify strengths and weaknesses before creating a study plan, mastering content, and breaking down practice problems. By making content accessible as well as focusing on strategy, I have been able to help many students boost their scores dramatically. As a high school student, I self-studied for countless hours to understand the structure, content, and question types, which resulted in a 99th percentile score and National Merit recognition.
