I'm Donna C, I have seven years of experience teaching English composition (writing) college freshmen classes ENC 1101 and ENC 1102, as well as developmental writing classes ENC 0015 and ENC 0025 for adult and high school dual enrollment students in in-person and online class settings. I also have five years of tutoring English language skills to English Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) and Adult Basic Education students at a community college in on-on-one and small groups in person and online. I use gamified and practice methods so that students can feel increasingly confident in their English language fluency and their ability to produce different types of academic and professional writing. For these methods, I developed numerous educational materials for students' use.

I also worked as a freelance writer and staff journalist for regional newspapers and magazines. I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in English Literature as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree, also in English Literature.
