Over the last six years, I have worked as a Freelance Web Developer and a Frontend Developer for the Wine Industry. I have found that teaching helps me solidify programming principles. I've mentored multiple junior developers and helped friends and family with their tech needs. During the last two years, I mentored a junior web developer and she has moved on to become a Frontend Developer! Watching her work through all the tough concepts and put in a lot of hard work to succeed. I've become a stronger communicator and developer working with her over the last two years. I hope to continue working with others to help achieve their goals!

I've been working in the IT/Programming fields of study for 15+ years. I have experience with networking, web development, and general technology training. Over the last 10 years, I received my degree and have been improving as an engineer.

Working in the Wine Industry has improved my design, branding, and UX skills immensely. My CSS knowledge has grown ten-fold since working in the Wine Industry. I have carried that skillset to the backend of developing to help anyone I work with improve their business and liability. In addition to my design skills, the Frontend Developer position has evolved to work more with the backend. Working with APIs to create dynamic web pages and to hook up 3rd party services to increase revenue.

I believe my experience as an IT Professional and Frontend Web Developer has helped me become more knowledgeable and in a sufficient place to be able to teach the knowledge I've gained.
