I am a recent medical graduate (MD) from University of Queensland/Ochsner Clinical School, graduate of Tufts University and the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program at Columbia University. Throughout my life, I have taught in a wide variety of settings, from ESL in the developing world to private elementary, middle, high school and college tutoring. I am also experienced tutoring individuals with special needs (AD/HD, cognitive delay, visual/spatial deficits).

I have been college counseling and coaching students through the admissions process for 7 years. I also worked as an admissions interviewer and enjoy helping with college application and scholarship essays. I majored in Clinical Psychology and Child Development at Tufts University.
My undergraduate coursework and postgraduate training has largely been focused in psychology and social science research and academic writing. As a undergraduate, graduate, and medical student, I have become adept crafting research papers, lit reviews, and case studies, particularly in the fields of clinical psychology, public health, and medicine. I enjoy making the sometimes daunting tasks of academic and research writing approachable and even enjoyable to my students.
I have excelled in premedical sciences (biology, chemistry, and biochemistry) at Tufts and Columbia and have been tutoring high school biology for 8 years. I truly enjoy making life sciences interesting and accessible to students. I specialize in creative and individualized science tutoring for humanities-minded students.

I scored in the 99th percentile (top 1%) of PSAT, SAT, and ACT Verbal/Writing sections and the 99.9th percentile (top .1%) in Verbal IQ tests. I also scored a 5 on both the Advanced Placement Literature and Composition as well as Language and Composition tests. I am incredibly passionate about writing and making grammar understandable. In addition, I am an experienced ESL teacher and have experiences teaching and learning foreign languages.
