Hello, my name is Isaiah! I recently graduated from Illinois College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. I focused on the domestic realm during my time of study and have not looked back since. I am completely new to tutoring, however, I worked in education for the past four years to put myself through college. My first year or so I worked with Brevard's parks and recreation department. Since then I have worked in NASA's education department for almost three years now and have loved every minute of it. During my time at NASA I have been able to write my own STEM curriculum while working with NASA's education board.

During my time studying politics I served the campus as a political event coordinator where I registered roughly 1,000 students to vote and/or helped students check their voter status. I hosted watch parties for political debates, handed out literature, and held information sessions on why it is so important to vote. I also had the opportunity of being the President of the Democrats of Illinois College while being a member of the CARE initiative at Illinois College. CARE gave me the chance to go to Washington D.C. where I lobbied on Capitol Hill with several Congressional and state representatives. I have also served as a canvasser to a handful of campaigns.

While I might not have the typical experience for a one on one session, I have enough information and tenacity to get the job done. The special part about politics is conversation. The first step in learning about politics discussion and conversation is just that. You will not only learn about our government and our nation's politics, but you will learn more about yourself. This is a fantastic time to learn about politics!
