I obtained a B. S. Degree in Mathematics from Gannon University in 2008, and a M. S. Degree in Applied Mathematics with a Statistics Concentration from Purdue University in 2010. Since college, I have tutored a variety of subjects ranging from middle school math to Calculus I, and also aided students in their Math test prep for the SAT and ACT. I worked as a tutor during all 4 years of my undergraduate education and as a Calculus teaching assistant while obtaining my graduate degree at Purdue University. After completing my graduate education, I worked at a community college teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Statistics before becoming a SQL Programmer. I have a passion for using my mathematics background to help others succeed. I have the ability to break down every step, including the basic fundamentals, and feel that students learn best by example and repetition. My ultimate goal is to help students gain confidence in their mathematics abilities in order to be successful in their classes.
