I'm a full-time Software Engineer with 3 years of industry experience. I graduated from UC Irvine with a B.S. in Computer Science and concentration in Intelligent Systems (AI). I have 5 years experience tutoring computer science, math, test prep. I work great with all age groups, and have experience mentoring/teaching students from 1st grade to college.

I have 5 years experience tutoring computer science, math, test prep. I work great with all age groups, and have experience mentoring/teaching students from 1st grade to college.

Computer Science is my strong suit, as most students I tutored in high school/college were struggling with computer science subjects. For computer science: I was a TA at UC Irvine for beginner to intermediate Python. I've also tutored computer science on Wyzant and had many satisfied clients. I have 5 years experience writing code in Python and have created a search engine, various web applications, and video games in python. For math: I did Kumon for many years and reached level M. I scored a 1510 on my SAT and a 760 on SAT Math. I can do all math up to Multivariable Calculus (highest math course I've passed at UC Irvine).

I love 1:1 tutoring because that style of tutoring, in my opinion, is the best way to learn something quick, yet thoroughly. With me as your tutor, I'll make sure to make the material engaging for you so learning won't feel like a chore, but a privilege. My goal is to make you proficient in the material ASAP, but that requires effort on your part as well. If you come in with an open-mind and a willingness to learn, the other things (skillset, education level, etc.) don't matter to me. I will help you succeed no matter the odds!
