Quick response, clear explanations!

I sent out a bat signal last night for help and Linden responded very quickly. Though this afternoon was quick notice, he was able to schedule an hour for an online/phone tutoring session. I was feeling overwhelmed with a Java project and was unsure how the various components worked together. Linden used enough jargon to point me in the right direction without talking over my head. Simultaneously, he was very patient with a new student and did several check-ins through our conversation to make sure I understood what he was explaining. I hope to work with him again in the near future; hopefully in person! Java isn't easy to learn over the phone, but Linden really did a superb job.

Linden is great!

I have had a few tutors on Wyzant and Linden is as good as any of them if not better. Linden helped me with depth first algorithm and even took the time to show me how to troubleshoot on my own without using the debugger. I would highly highly highly recommend Linden! If you read his bio he has a masters in Mathematics and a PHD in computer science and I was initially worried that he would be so smart I would not be able to understand. However, Linden has an uncharacteristic way of making things seem simple!! Thanks Linden for all your help and I will certainly be back!

We reached out to Linden to Tutor our son Jack for his SAT & ACT. He’s been great, very knowledgeable and patient. His calm demeanor and the way he explains different ways of working out problems has really helped Jack so far. He’s also been great working around my son’s busy schedule.
