He reviewed a copy of her test and provided notes for her the day before he tutored her. We'd gone thru 3 previous tutors with not much success. This first session, she really felt like he clearly explained the concepts in a way that made sense to her. She finally clicked with a tutor and we will be using him again!

Danny works with my son on his Beast Academy supplemental math curriculum. He is extremely professional, knowledgable, patient, and a pleasure to work with. My son is 7 years old, and he found Danny to be very kind, patient, and encouraging during each session. He conveys the material in way that was easy for my son to understand, and he takes extra care and time to ensure my son always understood how to solve each problem independently. He is a very positive and engaging tutor, and my son always looks forward to his sessions with him. He communicated with me weekly on my son's progress and was always very prepared for each session. Danny L is obviously a seasoned master at his craft! He doesn’t just explain things immaculately so the students clearly understand but actually gets inside the student’s brain to explain that student’s process of thinking to him/her so that they can either keep doing what they’re doing or change their way of thinking and explains exactly how to do that. He is brilliant beyond words! It’s no wonder why he has loads and loads of 5-star reviews. You will feel the same once you experience his teaching too - no wonder his students are so highly successful! He also happens to be such a humble and gentle person - comforting and patient and cares deeply about his students. He is “Master Yoda” of not just math but the teaching of math and as a person. He re-ignited my daughter’s love for and deepened her interest in math after years of she being in “advanced math” (2 grade years ahead) in traditional school where she had not felt that math could be this much fun). My son is an advanced 8th grader currently taking geometry. He is also preparing for AMC 8 and Math Counts type competitions. Danny did a great job helping him to prepare for these competitions as they are quite different from text book math. He is super helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
