Hi! My name is Nikki and I am currently stay at home mom with lots of flexibility to help you out! Previously, I taught both junior high teacher and high school students Spanish, math, and language arts. looking to help you out! I am very comfortable tutoring students of all ages and currently help students aged 8-22. I am certified to teach Spanish, language arts, math, and social studies, and can also help with ACT and college planning. I attended the University of Illinois, receiving degrees in Teaching of Spanish as well as Psychology.
I have been tutoring students for as long as I can remember. Being the oldest of six children, I have always taken on the responsibility with helping my younger siblings succeed in school. We have spent countless hours focusing on their homework completion, as well as study skills, executive functioning, and goal setting. I privately tutor students regularly at both the middle school and high school levels who struggle with motivation to complete work. I believe it is important for the student to have a say in the way their tutor teaches, so I am always sure to ask the student at the start of each session their goal for the day and cater to that throughout the lesson. That way, we are working together, rather than the student being "forced" to be tutored.

I look forward to hearing from you and working with you! Thank you for your time.

Excellent tutor!

Nikki has been a wonderful tutor for our son. Her communication has been top notch, she is very prompt, and gives immediate feedback to my son, and to us to keep us in the loop of how he is doing. I appreciate how she has kept him motivated and makes him accountable for his work. I highly recommend Nikki as a tutor. We feel very lucky to have her working with our son.
