About Madonna

Bio

Helping people understand difficult topics in a way that enables them to solve problems in their lives is what inspires me to tutor. I have tutored math for GRE prep and I was a teaching assistant for a MIT intro geology course, and now I'm here to tutor you! Origami makes math both fun and useful, and I'm here to share my passion for math with you.

Helping people understand difficult topics in a way that enables them to solve problems in their lives is what inspires me to tutor. I have tutored math for GRE prep and I was a teaching assistant for a MIT intro geology course, and now I'm here to tutor you! Origami makes math both fun and useful, and I'm here to share my passion for math with you.

Mathematics is the language of the universe, and I learned to play with math at an early age. I've always taken the most advanced math classes available to me, which is how I finished three semesters of calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and finite math by the end of high school. I currently use geometry, algebra, and trigonometry all the time in my origami designs, and I can show you how these fundamental math skills apply to real life.

I was an undergraduate teaching assistant for Intro Geology at MIT, and I love helping people learn more about how the Earth, our Solar System, and the many stars and planets further away work! I especially like tutoring spatial problems, like cube diagrams and mapping.
