My name is J. Patrick Shipp and I have a love and a passion for teaching others the important subject of History. I have a Bachelor of Arts in History from Georgetown College, and a Master of Arts in History from Eastern Kentucky University. I have taught at the collegiate level for over two years, and have tutored various students of all ages in various historical subjects. I believe history to be a vital asset that every person should know. I also believe that history is not just about knowing dates, but learning the past in a way that a student can picture it as if they were there. I truly believe that people who know their history can make the future a better place.

I have a Master of Arts in History from Eastern Kentucky University, my main focus is in early American History, European Renaissance, and Military History. However, all history is a passion to me, and I enjoy discussing, and teaching all subjects that are historical.

I encourage students who want to learn about history in a fun and enjoyable way to contact me. I have years of experience in teaching large classes, and also teaching history at an individual level.
