I am a Yale Graduate with over a decade of experience tutoring math and science. I have worked with many students in both high school and college courses to boost confidence and achieve their goals. I enjoy helping students understand math and science. I work with them to understand the patterns and connections between different concepts to help deepen their comprehension and improve their retention. I am a Yale Graduate with over a decade of experience tutoring math and science. I have worked with many students in both high school and college courses to boost confidence and achieve their goals. I enjoy helping students understand math and science. I work with them to understand the patterns and connections between different concepts to help deepen their comprehension and improve their retention. I ask questions and draw parallels to earlier ideas to help them connect new information with the ideas they already know.

I am confident helping students prepare for their AP tests by improving their understanding of the concepts and familiarity with the test and how it frames questions.

I also work with students on SAT and ACT prep, helping students feel confident and prepared on test day. I work with students on all sections of the test or individual parts depending on need. We focus on test taking strategies, deconstructing how the test asks questions, and strengthening understanding of the content.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

Lauren has helped me immeasurably with physics, algebra, calculus and the SAT. I struggled with physics and Lauren patiently explained to me everything I was having trouble understanding. She walked me through confusing assignments and gave me the tools I needed to solve problems on my own. My teacher noted how strongly I finished the year. I think her style of tutoring is extremely useful and works well both online and in real life. She is very good about illustrating concepts and writing things out so I can better visualize what I'm trying to understand. She is also very patient and understanding. Lauren helped me master math concepts and strategies for the SAT. She is great about providing resources and detailed explanations.
