My education background lies heavily in the field of STEM and Medicine. I graduated with a science GPA of 3.89 and won Biology Senior of the year from my alma mater in 2013. I went on to acheive a degree in osteopathic medicine and trained for three years as a family medicine resident. Along my educational path, i tutored algebra and biology in undergrad and have provided numerous lectures/case presentations in my medical career.

I have always possessed a passion for obtaining and sharing knowledge. I pride myself in being able to put myself in my clients shoes and see things from their point of view. My tutoring was 1 on 1 primarily, but my lectures were given to groups of 10-20 students in residency.

My approach is to make sure the student understands the basics of what is being talked about. I found in many of my tutoring sessions in math and biology that most students had trouble making connections despite missing vital concepts presented at beginning of their coursework. By reviewing those, and thereby linking them to the current content, students are able to hurdle the roadblock and move forward with their learning.

I hope this opportunity will allow to me further immerse myself in what it means to educate others and see them succeed in areas they didn't think was possible.
