Outstanding teacher

Kubrat is a high-level teacher. We came across him after trying two other teachers. Not only is he a math genius and very skilled in what he does, but also he is also extremely focused, efficient and cares about his students. He is ready to address any topic without any need for preparation. My daughter has been working with Kubrat for two years, and her math proficiency has dramatically improved with math now being her favorite subject. Kubrat renders difficult concepts, as they are explained in school, easy to understand. On top of his geniality, he is very reliable, courteous, kind, humble, and flexible with scheduling. We are very fortunate to have found him and wholeheartedly recommend him.

I am so grateful and impressed with every lesson I had with Kubrat. I am a college sophomore, and Kubrat helped me immensely through some very challenging classes. His lessons were always worthwhile. While the material was very complicated, his lessons were straight-forward and made sense to me. Kubrat addressed all my questions, providing lots of examples and access to textbooks. He could find the best resources and seemed to truly understand what I needed to focus on. As a tutor, he has a amazing way of adjusting the pace — slower or faster -- to match my understanding of the topic. Kubrat prepared me very well for both exams and homework. Most importantly, he was able to show how everything tied together conceptually, preparing me to face more than the problem at hand. Kubrat also has the soft skills that most tutors might not possess… he was so supportive and understanding about the stress and rigors of my academic life. Exactly what I was hoping for

Kubrat is an excellent teacher. I am taking a math crash course. He is focused and realistic about where the student is at and where the student needs to be to achieve their goals. The course included some unfamiliar material and he was able to give a brief lecture on the subject, which is greatly appreciated. His method of presenting information is clear and concise for a beginner. He was able to give advice about where time is best spent and provide guidance on how to approach each problem. He also never made me feel bad about all the math I have forgotten over the years. If you are stuck or struggling I highly recommend his tutoring.

Expert AND Kind Tutor!

Kubrat is hands down the best tutor I have ever worked with. I reached out to him the second day of my college linear algebra course, and in no time we created a weekly schedule. Since our first session, I have made an A on everything… homework and quizzes… AND even exams. I took my first exam recently and not only did I make an A, but I made the highest grade out of 1500 students! The insight that Kubrat provides in each session is what pushed me from being average to being at the top! Instead of just focusing on the specific homework problems I don’t get, he focuses on the “big picture”. I have taken multiple college-level math courses, and I have never understood the concepts like I have in this course. In addition to his expertise, he has the ability to create a stress-free environment where I feel comfortable admitting I am lost and need further explanation. I cannot recommend Kubrat enough. Kubrat knows his stuff. In one moment, he looks at the problem, see the answer and tells you the simplest way to solve it in an intuitive fashion. He is an excellent tutor for the mathematics subject GRE.
