I have an MEd from University of Illinois and a degree in Elementary and Special Education from Wayne State University. If you are searching for sensitive support for your youngster with special needs including autism, look no further. I have 25 years of experience working with children, young adults and adults with autism, and children with other special needs and their parents. I use strategies that are designed to meet the individual where they are developmentally, work within their unique biological and sensory profile, and develop skills through play- and relationship-based methods. I prefer to support parents of young children, helping them learn the skills that will help their child develop; I am available for tutoring with individual children as well.

I have opened two schools for children with autism, internationally as well as here in VA. My goal is to support the emotional life of the child, which allows for development in all other areas such as calming and regulation, engagement and interaction, and the development of language and play skills. I work sensitively and with humor, and place high value on the needs of families.

Contact me for support with your child, and we will schedule a time to get together!
