Bio

Greetings! My name is Kevin, I recently graduated Armstrong Atlantic State University with a degree in English literature and am currently applying to graduate school so that I can continue my studies, so that I might one day teach English literature at the college-level.

Greetings! My name is Kevin, I recently graduated Armstrong Atlantic State University with a degree in English literature and am currently applying to graduate school so that I can continue my studies, so that I might one day teach English literature at the college-level.

If you're not a fan of writing papers, reading some old book you don't care about, or just the English language in general, trust me, I understand-- I used to feel the same way. I didn't choose to major in English because the subject was easy to me or because the job market is so broad (which it isn't), I chose it because I love to learn, I love literature, and I love learning about literature so much that I feel the need to show others why learning about literature is exciting. So if you're being forced to read Dickens, Shakespeare, Hemingway, or whoever it is and you just find it dull and it puts you to sleep, don't take the easy way out and look it up on Sparknotes, ask me about it! I get excited reading any kind of literature and it would be my pleasure to show you why it is so exciting. If you're having difficulty coming up with a topic for a paper, finding research, or just need help in making sure your paper looks pretty before you turn it in, I can help! I loved writing papers when I was in college because it was a way for me to express the reasons why I love pieces of literature. In fact, I loved it so much that I'm trying to get back in school so I can do it even more. And as I already said, I want to continue my education to teach, so to me this opportunity for tutoring will be the first steps to my teaching career, so while I think of English as a joy, I still take any tutoring opportunity serious so that I might see you succeed, just as a good teacher wants to see their students succeed. No matter what area of English you need tutoring in, I look forward to aiding you in whatever way I can.

History

Bible Studies

Bible Studies

I have been going to church regularly for about six years now and throughout that time I was involved in several church events, have gone on three mission trips (two of them international), and attended several different Bible Studies. Throughout college I was active at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Armstrong. While I was at the BCM, I took a leadership job my senior year to coordinate a lunch program every week during the school semesters, I was a part of a life group with the campus minister for three years, and I even led a Bible Study that focused on the literature of the Bible. In my own personal life, I try to make sure I read and study the Bible everyday and try to apply what I learn from it in my life
