Hi, my name is Kristine B. and I am an experienced elementary reading tutor. I am passionate about helping young students learn to read by making reading fun and interactive. I use creative, hands-on lessons to help students learn their alphabet, letter sounds, word families and sight words. I also enjoy reading engaging storybooks aloud to students to help them gain a love of great stories and become excited to read on their own. I have experience working with Kindergarten, first-grade and second-grade students in one-on-one tutoring, small groups and whole group classroom settings. I work as a Science Lab teacher in an elementary school setting teaching K-5 students a variety of science disciplines including Physical Science, Life Science, Earth Science and STEM topics.

I have 15 years experience in the field of Marketing communications where I had the opportunity to write, proofread and edit multiple types of marketing communications such as brochures, news articles, websites, press releases, annual reports, company newsletters and copy for print, radio, television and billboard advertisements. I have also completed a masters degree in business from the University of Florida and a teaching certification from Sante Fe College which required me to write and proofread many college-level writing assignments.
