My name is Mike. I have been interested in languages, especially grammar and etymology, for forty years. As a speaker and writer of English all my life, I am an expert on the subject. I have tutored in ESL for the past five years, and greatly enjoy working with others to improve their English skills, which is definitely necessary for non-English speakers to get ahead in the workforce.
I also spent the last 12 years working with computers as a Windows system administrator for the federal government. I recently earned my A+ certification as a means to better myself and to better market my existing skills. I teach general computer skills, along with troubleshooting problems, to a wide range of age groups.
I am fairly flexible with scheduling and can endure a same-day cancellation. Tutoring sessions can be held at a public place such as a library or coffee shop, or in your home, as long as there is a male present if the student is a female. Honesty and integrity are of utmost importance.
I look forward to helping you improve your life skills!
