I am a first-year teacher just out of college. I teach both English at the High School level as well as Elementary Physical Education. I LOVE my job! I love to teach and open my students' minds to the possibilities of the world around them. I love teaching students how to move and control their bodies in PE as well as teaching my high school students how to grow and expand their understanding in English.
I have tutored several times over the course of my life. Most recently, I served as a content tutor for a college course in linguistics for two years. I find joy learning new things as well as in teaching them. My favorite thing about tutoring is that it is one-on-one time to focus on what the learner needs help with. I have found that sometimes certain students struggle with just one part of a lesson and a little bit of one-on-one time can improve their understanding.

I'm currently certified by the state of Missouri to teach English at a professional level. I have also previously served as a linguistics tutor during college.

I have been teaching swim lessons for almost a decade and I have been certified by multiple institutions in order to do so.

I love teaching what I know to others and I think that learning is one of the greatest pursuits in life.
