I have taught undergraduate and graduate school for 11 years. My background and training is in Psychology. I have taught a very broad range of courses in psychology and have an excellent handle on what is needed to succeed in this subject matter in the college classroom, but also skills of research, writing, and presentation. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, working one on one with students and seeing them be successful.

I have developed a specialty niche in working with students with learning disabilities and ADD. I have worked for 3 years in a program at a college serving students with LD/ADD which assists them with academic support. Issues of not only academic support, but approach including time management, study skills, organization, and project management are all essential skills for success that I incorporate into my work with students.

I have earned my BA in Psychology and MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology. I have practiced in the field as well as teach so can provide not only academic support but use actual examples of how psychology works based on my history of using Psychology in the field. In addition, as a college professor I have insight into what students need to understand and produce in a college classroom.

I have worked with students with LD and ADD for three years at the college level, assisting them in their transition to college, adjustment academically, and to develop skill sets key to success.
