My son needed coaching in Spanish from the basics even though he was in an advanced 8th grade class, and had lost confidence studying by himself. My son, in 10th grade, was having problems in Spanish 2. He was constantly receiving Cs and Ds on examinations, however, once Patricia started tutoring him he started receiving high Bs. Patricia always supplements my son with extra work to do so he is always practicing. She is also very committed to her job and is always in contact with me, reporting my son's progress. Likewise she is on time and always ready for a lesson. Would highly recommend!!

I just started to work with Patricia, and it has been really great. She makes the language easy to understand. She is encouraging and explains why the language is similar to English, and the ways that it is different, which really helps. I have taken Spanish before in college, but felt that I didn't remember much. With Patricia I am remembering a lot, and feel I understand more now than when I started! Patricia is an excellent Spanish tutor! Patricia has been working with my high school son since 9/18/2013. My son received a "B" for the first semester. That's a huge improvement from the low "C's" which he received when he was attending middle school. She not only helps my son study for what his Spanish teacher requires him to know, but she also has started teaching my son the foundation of Spanish her way. This way he can get a better feel for the language and not just memorize Spanish for a test. Hopefully my son one day will enjoy speaking Spanish as a second language. Thank you Patricia for your patience, kindness, and the extra work that you put into making sure my son succeeds.
