My interest in sewing began with my love for Jim Henson's Muppets. After graduating from High School, I saw an exhibit on how the Muppets were created and this inspired me to buy my very first sewing machine. I began learning how to create my own puppets by reading books, and a year later I was awarded a Theatre Grant for my efforts- which made my dream of going to college a reality.
