Professional Nurse with tutoring experience
One of my first "real jobs" after high school was to tutor fellow college students at the University of Arkansas in Helena. I loved it from the very first lesson. I met with students of all capacities. I tutored a remedial reading student with learning disabilities and an older, nontraditional age student in fine arts. I like the one to one interaction and that moment when the student has an "a-ha" moment. I am good with encouraging my students to keep going. Perseverance is key in many areas...
