I am a fourth year PhD student in the History Department at UCLA. My fields of study are Ancient Mediterranean History and the languages of Ancient Greek and Latin. I have passed my PhD's Latin qualification exam and will be taking the Greek qualification exam soon. I have multiple years of tutoring experience with students of all ages and levels. I have long been out of school, but wanted to enrich my knowledge of Classical texts by being able to read them in the original. I am also interested in reading Medieval and Renaissance version of Latin as well. Anthony is patient and flexible, allowing me to go at my own pace, and occasionally digress into Homer or the Chaldean Oracles. It's a bit of a long term project, but I am making progress. Anthony has been very helpful.
