Depending on what type of coding it is (for instance: Python), you have to explain the problem itself first, but soon after he is able to understand what the problem is about. He will repeat the material in several different ways to understand what your question is about (a little bit confusing at first, but explains each part over to make it seem easier). He is also friendly, nice, and tries to make it fun.
