My name is Sarah. I have 14 years of teaching and tutoring experience working with a wide range of students from pre-K to college. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I have a flexible schedule, but only tutor out of my home office in Vacaville or online. At Solano Community College I passed Intro to Accounting with a B. I completed the Small Business Certificate taking classes in Small Business Record Keeping, Planning for Profit, Business Budgeting, Managing Credit & Collections, Financing a Small Business. I have put these skills to work with my personal accounting as well as my family's small business accounting.

I use the Microsoft Program every day for my course work, typing letters, creating documents, creating/printing business cards, creating/printing labels, printing envelopes, event schedule planner, Agendas, address & phone books, photo album pages, family history book, calendars, certificates, flyers, invitations, letterhead, resumes.
Microsoft PowerPoint
I have completed the PowerPoint course at Solano Community College with a B. I also completed the workshop at University of Phoenix. I use this program 2-3 times a month for my college classes. I also use it for presentations at work.

Sarah goes above and beyond when it comes to tutoring my daughter with her 9th grade math lesson. She researches in advance any work she's missing. She stays on top of what goes on in class by accessing my daughter's school loop (with my permission of course.) She texts me to ask how she did on her last test. She offers for my daughter to contact her if she needs help before the next lesson. Sarah's patient with my daughter and is always prepared with plenty of resources available if needed. Sarah's very organized and even assists my daughter to keep organized when it comes to her completed work. She makes sure my daughter understands the concept before moving on. My 7th grade daughter is tutored by Sarah twice a week for one hour sessions. Helping her with homework (math in particular) is like pulling teeth, extremely stressful to the point where I find myself doing the work for her just to get it done. It really helps having Sarah help her figure it out on her own. After the first session, when I picked my daughter up she walked out with a huge smile on her face! She was so proud she got her homework done! She said, "and she didn't even give me the answers!". Sarah has made it easier on me and my wife at home and for my daughter as well. I just began Accounting and quite honestly it looks like another language to me.
