My Junior Honor Student had been struggling in PreCalc. Unfortunately her teacher has a very "hands-off" approach to teaching and the kids are expected to muddle through together to uncover the math on their own. There is no text book, and the questions and work are esoteric in nature. After the first session with Justin her understanding of the concepts increased to manage an 88% on her test - so much better than the 70%s she was getting previously. After each session she feels more confident and is proving it in classwork. We are confident she will be able to return to her 'A' standard before the end of the school year! Justin has done a great job with deciphering what the teacher is trying to have the students learn and put everything in more concrete terms for my daughter. He is careful to ensure she has a true understanding before moving on and has given her outside references to help make-up for no text book. We look forward to tutoring sessions and will be sure to call on Justin in the future. In addition we highly recommend him to others to overcome their subject struggles!
