Gregory J. from Ridgefield, CT

John visited with us for the first time last week and we found him to be very helpful and detailed with Pre-Calculus instruction. We look forward to his upcoming visits.

Olivia D. from Ridgefield, CT

Continued to work through all the word problems that I keep struggling with. Helped raise my understanding of calc!! Thanks

This summer I took a very condensed College Algebra course at Norwalk Community College. The course ran from July 1st to July 30th and moved at a very fast pace. While I am not terrible at math, it is far from my best subject. I knew if I was going to keep my head above water, I would need to invest in a professional and knowledgeable tutor. I got all that and more in John! John was always on time and dependable, and he would stay as long as he felt was needed. Most of our sessions lasted about three hours. His tutoring methods were also very effective. John always answered all of my questions, but he forced me to work for the answer, he never gave it to me on a silver platter. He therefore proved to me that I had a better handle on the subject matter than I thought I did, and simultaneously prepared me for my exams (where I would not have a tutor to provide me with the answer). In short, I believe that John is the best tutor around. His wide ranging credentials and experience rival the best tutors WyzAnt has to offer and he is far more affordable. But most important of all, he truly cares about his students and wants to see them do well. John's tutelage was one of the main factors behind my successful completion of an extremely condensed and fast paced Algebra course and he has earned my highest recommendation!

Sarah S. from Sandy Hook, CT

I was completely lost in Algebra II and failing. John helped me to understand the essentials I needed to know in a way that matched my learning abilities for Math. If it was not for John I would have failed my final math exam and the class. Because he was willing to work with me - even on a Sunday - on Father's Day no less, I passed my exam and the class. I should note that we only called John a week and a half before the final and he was only able to meet with me twice - so he really was a miracle worker!

Mike K. from Sandy Hook, CT

John K. was very understanding, very helpful, and very patient. I was nervous but he put my mind at ease and made it so easy to begin working with him. I was so glad I found him after the first lesson. After a few lessons, even my professor noticed a positive difference in my work.

Louise S. from Weston, CT

John seemed great. Thank you. My only regret was not finding him sooner. John made Calculus easier for him to understand.

Andrew B. from Barre, VT

Without John's passion and patience for teaching step by step I wouldn't have made it through my stat class. I would recommend him.

Patti H. from Virginia Beach, VA

Awesome math tutor. Worked through each problem I had until I was clear, very helpful approach and fantastic results that stayed with me. I did not have any wait or have any problems reaching by phone, would recommend highly A++

Christina B. from Weston, CT

John is very flexible and was willing to come spend just one hour with me prior to an exam. He sat patiently as I stepped through the problems once he taught me to solve them independently, which I appreciated. He is a great tutor!

Scott F. from Brookfield, CT

As a non-traditional and U.S. Army Veteran student, it has been years since I worked with algebra. John was able to review the concepts in an easy to understand manor, which has led to successful completion of the course.

Stewart M. from Woodinville, WA

John has a knack for identifying where the gaps are in my understanding of a subject. He then clearly explains how to approach solving a specific type of problem and then practices applying that solution. As a result, I really understand the solution. John is the shortest path to successfully understanding the subject.

Alex B. from Brookfield, CT

John is very patient and helps students by not providing the answer but helping students to become problem solvers.

Seema S. from Wilton, CT

My daughter was struggling with some complex concepts in Calc II and John was able to explain and help in many areas.
