My love of teaching began in college when I would tutor high school students. I maintained a 4.0 GPA in college while majoring in chemistry and tutoring on the side. I then went on to work in research and development for a chemical firm. Later, I worked as an analytical chemist. When my children came along, I dedicated my time to home-schooling them. Melissa is a very helpful and patient tutor. She takes a lot to time explain the problems and made it easier for my child to understand. We were all impressed with her tutoring after the first session with her. She has a very kind and gentle personality and attitude. We saw great improvements in our child's work progress immediately. She really knows how to make your children feel comfortable enough where learning comes a lot easier for them.
