I began teaching a 5th grade class of highly gifted students. They have special needs and skills when learning. I did this for 2 years and then transferred to a school site that was on a traditional schedule (Sept-June) when my young son started school. My new assignment lasted 16 years where I taught math, science and computers at the middle school level. I taught about 220 students every day and view each child as unique in ability and desire. I aim to have students love learning as I do....
