Native Spanish & Art Tutor - Groups & Individual Fun Classes

Hola, mi nombre es Nicole... Immersed in a multicultural world, I was born and raised in Chile. As a teenager, I worked as a television actress for 3 years. I graduated college in 2001 earning a bachelor's degree in Theater Direction, and began teaching immediately afterward. My passion as a tutor began later, along with my endeavor as a mosaic artist. Our family moved to the United States in 2009, and I now have two teenage boys. I continued teaching Spanish classes in Atlanta, and have mo...

Nicole has been great with my 5 yr old son. She brings games and tries to engage him in activities. He doesn't feel it is a class and I've noticed he is absorbing the language over time.

Nicole has been a great teacher for the boys. My youngest, who is 8, always wants to go first because he really enjoys her classes. She comes well prepared and does a great job of mixing work with play for their practice. My boys are both fluent in Spanish but I wanted someone to come and work on their writing skills and to have some conversational practice as well. She accomplishes this easily and has a very gentle spirit with the boys.

We are very pleased with Nicole - excellent with our 6-year old son and we look forward to many more lessons with her!

Nicole is great. She shows up 5 minutes early every week and keeps our 4-year old engaged the entire time. My daughter's Spanish has picked up immensely just in the 5 weeks that Nicole has been working with her. My daughter was already familiar with Spanish and understood a good bit, but we could never get her to respond in Spanish. We would ask a question in Spanish and she would reply in English. Nicole has made their 1 hour sessions fun, so my daughter doesn't realize that she's learning - she just thinks it's playtime. After Nicole leaves, my daughter speaks Spanish for the rest of the evening, almost without thinking about it. This is exactly what we've been struggling with, and the results that I've been looking for. I asked her last week for a list of vocabulary that they've been working on so we could practice at home during the week and she gave me 2 full pages of words for us to work on. Overall we couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend Nicole to other families in the area that are trying to teach/improve their children's Spanish. She also works with adults.
