There are so many good things to say about Reka. Trying to get into an ultrasound tech program has been a very long process for me and I was recently told one of the requirements to apply was that I place out of College Algebra. Since I haven't taken a math class in 11 years I began to panic until I had my first tutoring session with Reka. To say Reka is knowledgeable in math is an understatement. She is incredibly smart and extremely patient. We started with pre-algebra which Reka pretty much had to teach me basic math skills all over again. With that said, she made me feel so comfortable and walked me through each problem and made sure that I understood why and how we solved the problem a certain way before we moved on to the next question. She doesn't let me given up even when I get frustrated with some of the harder problems. She is very encouraging and wants me to succeed just as much as I want myself to. In the few short months I have been tutoring with Reka I feel like I've never been better at solving math problems. Math has never been my best subject but Reka knows how to explain things to me so that I can understand the meaning behind the problem. So far we've gone over the NLN Exam book, the TEAS book, a few COMPASS math tests and so much more. I've already placed into College Algebra and have no doubt that the next time I take the COMPASS test I will place out of College Algebra. Reka is always on time and very flexible with her schedule which helps me greatly as I work full time. A few times I have had to change the tutoring times and she is very accommodating and will try to work around my schedule. I would highly recommend Reka to anyone who needs help in math or any other subject for that matter. If you are looking to get into nursing school and feel like you need some help with the TEAS exam Reka is the tutor for you!
