In addition to having a special education degree that certifies me to teach grades K-12, I have both special education classroom experience and private tutoring experience with autistic children and teens. I am able to develop a good working relationship with the child while we move through the academics.
ADD/ADHD
I have a degree in special and elementary education, as well as extensive experience in the private tutoring of ADHD and ADD students. I present learning activities in small components tailored for success. I keep the student interested and learning, by having a variety of activities at hand and redirecting them as needed. The students find success and appropriate challenge in our sessions.
