Jacob is helping a friend of mine who is 58 years old and needs to brush up on algebra to pass a test to get into nursing school. She has been so stressed out about taking the test and Jacob spent time calming her down and helping her realize that she can do this! He worked on giving her tips on test taking, study guidelines etc. He has be able to get through to her where other friends and family have not! I would recommend Jacob to any student of any age!

My son was very glad to meet on Wednesday as he was off a week due to illness. Tutoring helped him feel prepared and "smart" when he received his make-up work.

Jacob was easy to contact and responded promptly. He found out what textbook my son was using before they met and what chapter they were studying. He arrived on time and used the time effectively to provide an overview of the subject matter and work through several problems together.

Jacob has done great work with my 13 year old, who suffers from ADHD. Jacob keeps him on track, and helps to make sure that he really grasps the material.

Jacob not only helps my daughter understand concepts associated with geometry and physics, he helps her think through and understand how to learn -- how to break down problems logically, how to organize her work and even how to approach her high school teachers more effectively with her questions and concerns. She ended the year with a solid grade and even increased her ACT score by 2 points.
