I have a BA in Spanish from Simpson College, and over 17 years of career experience using my bilingual skills in multiple industries, such as Finance (Mutual funds and Insurance), Retail, IT (Technical Writing in English and Spanish with several tutorials and knowledge base articles of mine published on certain cellphone carrier websites), as well as acting as a liaison from Principal Financial's Data Center to a subsidiary in Chile. The most satisfying part of my career has no doubt been helping clients and customers, and it's very gratifying being able to do so in Spanish. My grammar is very strong in both languages and I aim to teach the writing aspect in a clear and concise manner, using proper style and mechanics. I also know financial terminology in Spanish, as I used to hold both a Series 6 and Series 63 license. I then learned the IT side in Spanish, working as a corporate technician at Sprint and a Technical Writer in Seattle and Wells Fargo. It would be an honor to help in the development of anyone needing a tutor who has a strong desire to identify the best way to work with students that have goals and to foster them with the passion I have to help others succed.
