10/27/2014 This was my daughter's 3rd lesson with Christina and she is feeling much more confident in her math lessons and completing her homework. We are so fortunate that Christina was able to take my daughter on and be her tutor as she had a super busy schedule already. My daughter is feeling better about college algebra, and I only hope that her confidence continues. Thank you Christina!!! 12/01/2014 After finally deciding to switch gears and focus on Math instruction in preparation for ACT and the SAT (Dec.6) I can only say how I wish we started this sooner. Math has been a constant struggle this year, and after we were unable to drop this course it was mutually decided to place my daughter's energy elsewhere. Christina has been wonderful in her instruction and my daughter understands and responds well to her. I am so glad we found her and even more so that she was willing to take another student on. We are going to continue with the instruction till semesters end, extending our original contract by a few more lessons as the routine and study sessions work well for my daughter. I only wish we could continue it longer. Thank you so much Christina. We appreciate you very much.

Currently Christina is working with our son to help improve his ACT test scores. She has been doing a great job working with our schedules and with the weather. She works with him from where he is and not on any preconceived ideas. I appreciate her willingness to work with him and start where he is and help him learn what he needs to so he can get where he wants to be.

If money were not a factor, I would be inclined to explore private school options even though SMSD is noted as a good school district. (Too many reasons to list here.) I feel fortunate to have found Christina through WyzAnt as she works well with my daughter and her tutoring is a supplement to the public school education that I can afford and is well worth the investment. My daughter is gaining confidence in her math skills and I appreciate the feedback and assessment of her skills provided by a highly qualified educator that is independent of the school system.

Our 7th grader works extremely hard and is a great student; however, was having some trouble with Algebra I. Christina was able to connect with her right away! She is patient and has a wonderful, positive attitude that makes lessons enjoyable. Our 7th grader's understanding of the material has increased and the test scores have come up dramatically in just a few weeks of tutoring. As an added bonus, Christina has been able to help with Language Arts. I would highly recommend Christina!

Works very well with my daughter, does different activities to keep her interest, seems to go out of her way to help.

We picked Christina for a few reasons: her experience with ADHD and her expressed enthusiasm for helping kids achieve their goals. She is clever and has quickly gained a level of comfort with our two sons.

My granddaughter has connected with Christina and her teaching method. After taking a partial ACT test, she said she felt confident. She is off to a good start!

We have not gone in depth yet because we have only met once for an hour. When given the time I'm confident Christina will accomplish what I'm looking for.
