I have been working as a private tutor for 10 years, and have worked with kids from first through twelfth grade, as well as adults. I have a BA from Mount Holyoke in Ancient Studies, with a minor in Anthropology, and a graduate certificate in Arts Administration from Northeastern. I studied theater history for two semesters. I took three years of acting lessons, two of improv comedy and eight years of ballet. I took a course on Italian comedies, including comic operas and commedia dell'arte. I have read and/or watched nearly every Shakespeare play. I have studied Greek theater (especially tragedy) extensively. While in college, I took a course on the cultural context of Greek tragedies. My final paper focused on the influence Athenian politics on Euripides Hecuba.
